In an intimate listening session at a recording studio in Sydney’s CBD, Trey Songz unleashed tracks off his upcoming album Chapter V including his latest single Heart Attack.
He spoke about his passion for music and how important it was to connect with his Australian fans.

“In every way, shape or form I’m blessed to be in the position I’m in, I feel like I will work harder than any artists,” Trey said.

“I know there’s 14 artists in town for Supafest, I don’t know how many are doing this (listening session).’‘

The RnB singer who just wrapped up Sydney’s Supafest festival said he owes his musical journey to artists like Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. “They couldn’t sing in certain parts of our country and really took a stand to sing and seek their soul. It wasn’t about a hit record or being famous, but about loving the art of music.’‘

Songz musical director of six years, Amadeus said they want to bring the same buzz Down Under.
Amadeus has worked with and produced for more that 50 artists including 50 Cent, P Diddy, The Game and upcoming artist Tiffany Mynon. “We want to take the same awareness and energy we have in the States and create the same atmosphere here,’’ Amadeus said. “Trey is definitely tapping into different areas, sounds and styles of music, it’s different to what he’s known for creating, we are trying to spread our wings.’‘

With two more Supafest shows to go, this won’t be the last time you will be hearing from Trey. Expect to see and hear more from the RnB artist.

“I don’t want to be the guy that goes to Supafest and you don’t hear from until a year later when it’s time for Supafest again.’‘
